How can I stream from a local PC via ethernet?

Problem:

I have two PC's on one table both are windows 10. and named PC-1 and PC-2. PC-2 has FFXV installed and I would prefer to play it on PC-1, however, I don't have the storage capacity for it on PC-1 and my wife won't let me buy another SSD at this time.

I have an ethernet connection between both PCs and would like to stream FFXV from PC-2 to PC-1 via that. What steps do I need to take to make that streaming connection prioritize the ethernet connection instead of WIFI?

I don't post often, if I have posted in the wrong location kindly move me to the proper location if possible. Thanks.

both need to be on the same subnet
connected to the same router, with similar ip, 192.168.same.different
windows network needs to be set to private not public
can ping each other ip
wifi will work, just make sure wifi isolation is disabled on the router
also any vpn would need to be disabled on host and client pcs

both pcs logged into the same steam account
steam -> settings -> remote play -> allow direct connection = not disabled

on client -> steam -> library -> select game -> next to install, hit the down arrow, and play on 'host pc name'

You are in right place. Just install steam on both pc's, enable remote play on both pc's in steam settings, set up PC 2 as streaming host and on your client pc (pc 1) pc 2 should be shown as available to connect. Steam client on PC 1 should tell you what to do in order to start streaming.

Nothing, ethernet will always get priority but simply sawitching wifi off on either of or both pcs will prevent any issues with wifi being selected unwantedly.
