windows network needs to be set to private not public
can ping each other ip
wifi will work, just make sure wifi isolation is disabled on the router
also any vpn would need to be disabled on host and client pcs
both pcs logged into the same steam account
steam -> settings -> remote play -> allow direct connection = not disabled
on client -> steam -> library -> select game -> next to install, hit the down arrow, and play on 'host pc name'
Nothing, ethernet will always get priority but simply sawitching wifi off on either of or both pcs will prevent any issues with wifi being selected unwantedly.
