Lag issues in Steam remote play on the client side
When i attempt to play with a friend through remote play together by hosting the friend has a lagging issue with the "stream" freezing at random moments and whenever something happens in game (i.e. something dies in cuphead).

I have looked up different methods and tutorials to get it to work properly but i am unable to.

my download speed is: 95 Mbit/s
my upload speed: 11 Mbit/s

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz (6 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

Has anyone had any similar issues?

upload is not fast enough if using steams internet relays
steam uses about 30-50mb/s for 1080p60 stream (host upload and client download)

for lan use, make sure
1. windows network is set to private not public
2. any software vpn is disabled
3. if using wifi, make sure routers wifi isolation is disabled
4. steam -> settings -> remote play -> allow direct connection = my/auto/all not disabled
5. host and client are connecting to the same router and can ping client ip from host

at host, steam -> settings -> remote play -> [advanced client options]

you can limit bandwidth, but the quality is greatly reduced

Sorry for the late response, i appreciate your help greatly.

Can i as a host do this or should the person im hosting for do this since it's located under "client options"?

I guess i would limit it to 10 Mbit/s since that's barely below what i have uncapped?

correct
try at 10mb/s, if that does not work well, try 5mb/s
Thank you for your help, i will try it ASAP.

still the same issue, the lag is still connected to when something extra happens, i.e. when something dies in game.
