Steam Remote Play not working on ubuntu 20.04 black screen on launch
I'm attempting to stream to a nvidia shield. Streaming has worked every single time with past OSes but when I changed to Ubuntu it's not completely broken

When I launch Steam Remote play from the shield and then select my device to start streaming I only get a black screen

if I attempt to manually go to my computer and launch a game to try to go around the big picture menu, steam will just immediately crash.

I tested streaming from my Windows Server running Windows 10 and it can still stream perfectly fine to the Shield therefore removing the shield as a potential problem.

I've done that. This was persistent over multiple restarts. Regardless I've switched distros and the problem was fixed. Ubuntu just sucks steer clear. Arch FtW
