Controller not working in FIFA22 via Steam Link App

Hey,

i recently bought a new Samsung Smart TV and installed the Steam Link App on the TV to stream my games from the PC to the smart tv. At the beginning everything worked out well. I simply connected my Xbox One controller to the TV and had no issues controlling the steam big picture menu or any games. Even steam external games like FIFA22 worked out pretty well. But out of nowhere my FIFA doesnt recognice my controller anymore. It still works in the big picture menu and also with steam games. But if i start FIFA it doesnt work anymore. Hope you can help to solve this.

steam -> settings -> controller -> [general]
make sure the controller is listed, select and identify to vibrate it

steam -> library -> select game -> gear -> properties -> controller
make sure steam input is enabled

steam -> library -> select game -> controller config -> select controller and make sure its mapped correctly, or browse configs and apply
