Remote Play can't login with two devices simultaneously
I'm trying to stream Remote Play from my desktop (host) to my laptop (client) through Steam, but when I login into either one of the devices, the other one kicks me out (logs out and goes offline)... so the two PCs don't see each other through the network and I can't attempt to play. Do you guys have any idea/suggestion on how can I solve this problem?

both are logged into the same steam acct?
that has always worked, just cant play the same game independently on each pc at the same time

it may be something else, if it just logging out of steam of windows?

Yes, both logged into the same account. That's exactly what I thought, I can't play the same game but I should be able to login.
It just logs me out of Steam, when I connect with the second pc the first one says "No connection" below (on the download bar) and I can't connect to the friends list. This happens regardless of the order, both if I login first with the desktop and then the laptop and vice versa, that's why I'm thinking that is not a problem related to the hardware but maybe there's some wrong settings or something like that

or is it kicking you off the internet/network?

can be a lan/wifi problem

is the router set to forward ports?
thats only needed to host internet games on a pc (other can connect to routers internet ip:port, which is then forwarded to the host)

or are you using the same vpn for both pcs?

Nope, I'm still connected to the router with both PCs when it logs me out of Steam. Which ports are used by Steam and Remote Play? I'm checking those later. Not using a VPN on any PC.

Thanks! I was definitely not over the limit (max is 10, I had 3), but somehow revoking the authorization weirdly allowed me to connect both computers... maybe it was just a bug, thank you so much!
