Unlimited bandwidth on client PC limitations
Before you ask, my home network and my host / client machines are plenty powerful enough to handle in home streaming. My concern regards to the bandwidth cap on the client PC. I really enjoy streaming streaming games to my 2016 MacBook Pro, but some games require more than the max limit of 50mb.

If I set my client machine to automatic or unlimited, my estimated bandwidth usage is 3mb which is nowhere near enough to stream the games at 1080P, nor is it close what my network can handle. For most games this can be solved to setting the limit to 50mb, but there's one game I really enjoy that hovers around an estimated bandwidth of 48mb. It's buttery smooth and perfectly playable, but there's many instances where the game spikes above the 50mb cap. It becomes unplayable when it spikes past the 50mb cap. I know I can lower my resolution and quality to lower the bandwidth, but it really takes away from the experience.

With all this in mind, is there a way to go further than the 50mb cap setting on the client machine? I ask since "Unlimited" doesn't actually set my bandwidth cap to unlimited, it sets it to 3mb.

30mb/s is enough for 5.1 sound with 1080p res

higher may be needed for higher res

you can set it to 75mB/s or unlimited
steam uses the client bandwidth limit for host and client
