Cannot stream at native resolution (1440p)
So I am attempting to stream from my gaming desktop PC to my laptop connected to a 1440p monitor.

Both systems are connected via wired ethernet at 1Gbps. I can completely uncap the bandwidth in the Steam remote play settings and Steam will push nearly 100Mbps of data and I get no stutters or issues.

The problem is that I cannot get Steam to capture the gameplay at 1440p and send a 1440p signal to my remote play client. I've tried this in multiple games, and all games appear to be stuck at 1080p. The internal game settings are all set to 1440p, however the Steam capture is still shown to be 1080p in the performance information.

Any ideas on how to get Steam to capture gameplay at 1440p instead of 1080p?

Here is a screenshot showing the issue. Taken from Ori and the Blind Forest. It shows that the game itself is running at 1440p in the in-game settings. However, in the bottom left, Steam is only capturing and streaming at 1080p.

I did have that set to "display resolution" on both the client and host. I believe that was the default setting and haven't changed it.

on host set display scaling to 100%
