Control Host Computer Mouse from Client?
Hey guys,
So odd thing here, not sure if this was what was supposed to happen, but..

So before, it was easy to access my Host computer, like clicking through apps and such.

However, now I can't seem to do anything, since the mouse cursor from the client PC doesn't even show up. It's there, but it looks like it's invisible.

Were we supposed to have been able to access the mouse cursor of the host PC with our own, like mirroring?

depends on what client you are using

pi/link hardware/android can control the host dekstop
steam client and some others can only control games

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

So I can actually use the mouse, if I minimize Big Picture Mode. Sometimes, the mouse cursor on the Host PC freezes.

link menu -> settings -> streaming -> advanced -> pick desktop mode not bpm

Ah! Do you refer to the menu in the Steam Link app? It would make sense, since this doesn't seem to be something in the Steam menu itself.

its a client setting, to start the host streaming in desktop mode, not the games list or bpm

Ah, yes, I had figured that out. Sadly, I've noticed that the mouse cursor freezes if I have to open an external system window, for example, if I try to install a game via the client computer to the host computer, I won't be able to because instead of opening a 'Save to' window, the cursor freezes.

is steam set to run as administrator on the host?
or maybe uac is blocking it
