Remote Play audio extremely low

Just got a new phone (OnePlus 9 Pro) and was testing Remote Play on it and for some reason the audio is EXTREMELY low. The phone's volume is maxed out, as is the PC's (side note: there used to be a Steam Remote Play Audio Driver, and I don't seem to have it any more. Is that no longer required?), but the streamed audio is barely perceptible.

The audio from the app itself before connecting is fine, but once connected all of the audio just gets super quiet.

I did a quick test on my old phone and its levels seemed fine, so it would seem this is a device specific issue, but I can't think of why it would be.

EDIT: Upon further investigation it looks like it's just the Steam Big Picture Mode audio that is being extremely quiet. Game audio plays back at a normal volume. Weird.
