Mouse pointer too small when remote playing
Hi all, I am playing a game. Host is a windows PC with a 4K monitor. I am playing on a linux box with a 4K monitor. The game switches resolution to 1080p. The mouse pointer in linux changes from black color to white and becomes half as small.

Is there any setting (even if I need to open a text file etc) that controls the size of the pointer?

Thanks

Hello Dude, Same issue here! Have you solved it? No answers from 2021? Many thanks

I had this problem. My laptop was connected to my 4k tv, remote playing from my 1080p host computer. Because my remote client laptop had automatically adjusted the scaling to 300% to make the user interface for most things useful at this viewing distance, I thought I needed to adjust my host pc settings instead.

I was wrong. I increased my cursor size on my remote pc (laptop), and cursor size in factorio was larger once I restarted the stream.

So, try increasing your cursor size setting on your client device, even if scaling is already set high. My guess is that in some cases steam remote play might use the default cursor size and not implement any UI scaling.
