Extreme Input Lag On The Pi 4
Hey all, just bought a Raspberry Pi 4 today, and installed the Steam Link App. Both my PC and the Raspberry Pi are hooked up via Ethernet. However, using a wired usb mouse and keyboard, I have insane amounts of input lag. The picture quality, even on Fast, looks amazing and doesn’t skip, it’s just my IO devices that are lagging behind. Already tried an AC usb hub and it didn’t make a difference. Any ideas?

Have you same Resolution on Rpi and on your Pc? Take That and test

The RPi3b+ was the same unfortunately however I think I've identified the issue!

The games I've been playing aren't being captured at the output resolution of the Pi e.g. the default Sonic Mania resolution is 848x480. If I change the Sonic Mania resolution to 1920x1080 then it works great and there's no latency any more. I tried 1280x720 as well and that's better than 848x480 but it still feels like there's a slight delay.
