remote play crashing if more than 1 invite sent

so here's the deal i can invite one person just fine they can join just fine no issues but as soon as i invite a second person the remote play ends. any ideas

EDIT: it fixed everybody newset steam update solved the issue

Same here, apparently this happened last year too and steam sent out a fix for it

oh and there was some roundabout workaround where you alt-F4 out of big picture mode to invite more people but when I tried it, it only worked the first time and I could not get it to work again

Yesss, I've been looking for people with the same problem as me. I've been trying to play spelunky 2 with some friends. When I invite one person, it works completely fine, but as soon as I invite someone else, the remote play menu that shows up when you invite someone dissapears entirely. I was trying to figure out a solution to the problem, thinking it was something wrong with my own PC, even to the point where I factory reset my whole computer! I'm glad at the very least that it's something wrong with Steam, and not my computer itself. Hopefully they fix it soon

I'm having the same issue. I've tried multiple games (Spelunky 2, Ultimate Chicken Horse, and Human fall Flat) with the same disconnect issue if more than one person tries to join. The hotfix in Big Picture mode (alt+F4) from last year did not work.

Yeah my friends and I are experiencing this issue as well. We're trying to play Streets of Rage 4.

Same here, i was thinking that valve remove invite more than 1 friend

Same issues here. As soon as the 3rd person is invited, the 2nd person gets "kicked" from remote play.

Tested with Streets of Rogue and The Cave (which both worked prior until about a week ago)
