60fps in menus but 30fps in game (Cyberpunk 2077)

I'm streaming Cyberpunk over my steam link and for some reason it caps the frame rate at 30 while in game while running at 60fps in the menus.

My PC if fairly capable with a ryzen 5 3600x and an RTX 2070 SUPER and I never got that problem with any other games.

Could it be a driver error or a problem with DLSS?

Would be great to know that I'm not alone here...

Check if is running at full screen and the refresh rate of your screen.

This is an issue with some DX12 games and it would be nice if Valve fixed it as we are going to be seeing a lot more DX12 titles in the future. In the mean time you can install Moonlight on your Steamlink and use that and it should fix the issue. You will loose Steam Controller functionality unless you run the game with GloSc.

I am having this same issue while streaming to my nvidia shield TV. What I've noticed that's interesting is if I stream the game using nvidia gamestream from the same computer I get full frame rate.

I do not like gamestream, I wish to use steam link but it seems like I will have to stick with gamestream.
