Display orientation?

Hi Guys,

I'm a new user when it comes to the Steam Link, I bought it a while back and finally decided to hook it up today. I've got it hardwired and it works beautifully, much smoother than I had anticipated, but I've got two problems I'm dealing with:

1) This one isn't as big a problem as I saw there were multiple threads on it but just haven't had a chance to read through them yet (hopefully it's got a fix), but I'm not able to get any of the mouse input key bindings to work (on the desktop, don't know about the other modes).
2) This problem is more baffling for me and it's what I'm trying to figure out first, but my desktop is setup in a vertical monitor orientation. The steam client loads up with the correct screen orientation and resolution, but as soon as the screen focus switches out to the desktop it rotates and "flattens" the output (picture[1drv.ms]). There's an option in the Steam client settings to match the resolution, which I had toggled on when I first launched the stream; however, untoggled still produces the same result.

Other than that, I've yet to run into any other problems. Appreciate any advice, thanks!
