Steam Input Dialog Box - Secure Desktop - Can't Get Rid Of
When trying to Stream game on Laptop(Win10) from Desktop (Win10), I get a Steam Input Dialog Box with the following:

Would you like to accept secure desktop input from Steam?
You must respond to this dialog while sitting at the PC.
If you are seeing this when you aren't using a controller or Steam, In-Home Streaming then you should check your PC for malware,

I am unable to click the "OK" or "CANCEL" buttons.

I have to close the task to get rid of it.

Am I missing something? How can I use Steam In-House Streaming?

Thanks!

This worked for me:

1. Create a .cmd file (i.e. in the desktop) with the following content:

for /f "skip=1 tokens=3" %%s in ('query user %USERNAME%') do (tscon.exe %%s /dest:console)

2. Run it as an administrator via right-click on the file.

The RD session will immediately close, but will remain active. You can now connect via Steam and no dialog will appear.

helps a lot! thanks for sharing
ok it is an old post but if you make steam launch as administrater in the program settings for win 10 , then when the prompt box comes up when you relaunch. look for the other options in the dialog box and turn the popup from windows to never. then when you wake from lan it will launch in background and let you log in no popus and you still have a password on windows.
