Alt-Tab problem
The issue is that I can alt tab out of a game but only for a few seconds.
Then it forces me back to the game, sometimes requireing me to tab out of the game on the host computer in order to get the streaming to work correctly again.

Is there some kind of setting or something that I can change so when I alt-tab out of a game I won't be forced back into it?

Game: Ark Survival Evolved

Currently I'm using the stream option because my laptop is more powerful than my desktop and runs the game a lot better. But its easier to play the game with an external mouse and keyboard. So thats why I'm using In-home streaming for it. I mean I could just hook up my laptop to the mouse/keyboard/a monitor but I don't want to keep doing that.

I have the same issue. I find sometimes that Alt-Enter to window the streaming game and then minimise works better than Alt-tab... but it's not perfect, so save before doing it.

I experienced this behavior starting about 5 months ago. The problem is that the game stream is grabbing focus. This never used to happen and is very annoying. As mentioned above, the workaround is to Alt+Enter to switch to a window from full screen and then alt+tab. Then to go back do the same to get back to full screen.
Sadly streaming seems to be completely broken now as it crashes every second time I switch back and if it does manage to switch it takes many seconds to do so. It used to be rock solid and near instantaneous. For a game like Warlock, it was better than playing natively as switching away from the game would lag the bejesus out of your entire system.
