It happens to me lately, i've been searching everywhere why she had lost my streaming sound on remote play together... then i remotely controled her PC... well when guest join the game, they can open a streaming popup menu by holding escape key (or the left button on the central part of a gamepad, don't know what it is called)
Then in the popup menu there is a speaker icon where the guest can set the volume for the remote play streaming. Somehow she managed, at some point, to access that menu and mute the sound without even noticing it. xD
go to steam settinges > interface > client beta participation (no bata choosen)
that's the only way work for me after trying all what i saw in this post
EDIT: I TAKE IT BACK, IT STOP WORKING
This was after turning on the host sound in the remote play settings....why is this off by default!
I attempted on another computer, and when they invite me it works fine and I can hear. Funny thing is that theyre running 32 bit audio, have "play audio on host" disabled and don't even have the steam streaming speakers/microphone at all, just regular audio input.
Any ideas?
It worked perfectly fine the last like 10 times on Binding of Isaac, just for it to suddenly stop working.
No audio, tried multiple different fixes we could find online, but nothing worked so far...
The most annoying things are systems that stop working despite not having changed a single thing...
