Only 1080p on 4k Sony tv
With the resent release of the android steam link app, i thought i would try the app on my sony xe9005. However even though i have selected max resolution as 4k, max settings, even tryed a lan kabel. I cant get a capture of over 1080p. I can select the higher resolution just fine inside the game. But it wont capture higher than 1080p.

I have also tryed the app on my Samsung Note 8, where i can stream 1440p just fine on wifi. The app on my phone and on the tv is exactly the same. Anyone got any ideas ?

What´s the max resolution your host display can do? If you´re using a FHD display, max. output is FHD.

If the display resolution of your host doesn't match your client, you can define a custom resolution on your host, which will let you select this very resolution in your games and you should be able to stream in this resolution.

Also: Does this TV even support decoding 4k@60fps?
