Report a translation problem
This is a technical issue. If you want to have a remote desktop, try streaming notepad.exe or use another software solution. Steam Link was not built for that. ;)
I cannot stream notepad.exe or anything else that is not fullscreened. It will appear as a blank screen on my TV with only a mouse moving around on it.
Mmm no that's not what I was asking, but that seems to be the case now that I've tried to look for it. I tried opening notepad.exe and an emulated game that is only partial screen, and both resulted in same issue as I mentioned above... black screen with only a mouse moving.
I was hoping I could broadcast my computer screen on the TV, which I'm sure I've seen other people talking about doing... but kreiselhoschi says that's not a function of Steam Link so now I'm second guessing that bit.
