Friend has zoomed in screen while remote play

Changing ingame resolution doesn't help. Tried changing remote play settings for both of us and nothing changed.

This happens for every game we've tried

Having them change client resolutions did nothing except for the 480p setting. Which made it worse,but all of the other settings made it look exactly the same to them

Second update.

After making sure steam was updated,on both sides,nothing has changed.

This is honestly getting frustrating. Not being able to see the outer edges of the screen really hampers everything...

I think I've found a solution to this problem. I have Minecraft (Java Edition) added as a non-steam game in my library, when I launch it from their the Minecraft launcher opens in full screen on a phone, but on your computer it is still a window. So what you need to do is move your cursor to where the X to close out of the window would be and click, then your screen should be fixed. This probably works with other programs as well but using Minecraft worked for me. Make sure you exit big screen mode before hand.

Click on Steam, settings, remote play, advanced host options, uncheck change desktop resolution to match streaming client, and ok to remove the zoom.

This never worked for me.

The fix we found is not a global solution.

My friends problem was the battery settings in windows toggling it fixes it once restart on a laptop.
