Playing with one friend and it works perfectly fine. He has an ultra wide monitor. We both did host and were client at some point. No problem.
Few days ago i tested it for a minute with another friend with his dual monitor setup and it just worked. (Im host hes the client)
Now we wanted to play and he gets the screen slice problem: https://i.imgur.com/Evybrjc.png
We didnt change ANYTHING between those two play sessions. We actually never changed any settings at all for remote play together. Everything is standard settings.
Ofc with this problem we tried to change settings to make it work. Restarts later and every possible setting combination... nothing worked.
Also If anyone of you guys has GSYNC turned on, turn it off. It solved the issue with LEgo Lord of the Rings.

i dont know what i can try more
I solved with
Steam Settings > Remote Play > Advanced Client Options > Uncheck "Enable hardware decoding"
Host:
Intel Core i9 9900K
64GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti 11GB
Windows 10 2004
Client:
Intel Core i7 3930K
32GB RAM
Nvidia Titan X (Pascal) 12GB
Windows 10 2004
Both computers use 3840x2160 Resolution Screens (trying to Stream in that resolution, too) with their desktop set to the same and 150% Scaling and are connected via Gigabit Ethernet.
Oddly enough, Streaming the game to my phone via WiFi or a Samsung TV (Ethernet) in another Room works fine, it's just the Streaming between the two PCs that is causing trouble.
