achievements

Hi,
do both parties get the achievements or just the host ?

eg. if both people own the game would both get an achievement, or would you have to play it twice, once as host, and once as guest so the other person get the achievements ?

I'd imagine only the host would get it since their copy of the game is the only one active at the time.
I don't think it takes anyones elses individual account into consideration when an achievement pops as you'd just be another input to the program.

ON PS4 when we log our account to play any local coop game, both accounts get the achievments, I don't know if steam does this right now, but I'm sure it's something they can implement even considering that the second player don't own the game.

They should make achievement be disable for the person connecting. Don't want to get random achievement for games I don't even own.

Well I was playing Enter the Gungeon with a friend that invited me and I didnt get any achievements he got while playing.
