Open Sims 4 on Steam

Is anyone able to open Sims 4 on Steam WITHOUT oppening origin? I woul like to stream it with the steam link (i'll have one in a few days) but i can't get to open Sims 4 without oppening Origin.. (Yes I added the game at the non steam games library, and yes, I've already done this:
"-Choose the Origin game from the list, then select “Add Selected Programs“.
-From the computer where the Origin game is installed, open Origin.
-Go to the “Origin” menu, and select “Application Settings“.
-Select “Origin In Game” in the left pane.
-Uncheck the “Enable Origin in Game” check box.
-Select “Advanced” in the left pane.
-Check the “Automatically exit Origin after closing a game” option, then close Origin.
-From the client computer, launch Steam. "

Anyways when I start sims 4 on steam, Origin opens.

Any suggestions will be appreciated =)

Origin is required to start Sims 4, so there´s no way besides applying a crack to run without it.

Oh.. thanks, so there's no way to playit with the steam link on the TV, right?

You can try adding the game as a non-Steam game? Not really sure. I have heard of people playing Mass Effect 3 via streaming and that requires Origin too.

Hey guys, It is possible to stream sims 4 with the steam link. I've already tried, it does not fit perfectly to the screen but It works.

I gues It is possible because you can explore your Desktop with the steam link, not just the steam itself. So, in theory I think that any Game (even non Steam Game) should work

Sims 4 says Remote Play on tablet.....has anyone done this? I REALLY want to rebuy this and make a new Origin account just for my tablet to do it. I have several friends who want to play it co-op with me.
