Keysticks/Steam streaming cursor compatibility?
I’ve been trying to find a way to play Feed The Beast: Sky Factory 3 (via Twitch Launcher) in my living room instead of my office, and I’ve come back to Steam since my wife has a new laptop and doesn’t use her old one.

I’ve tried several different things and can’t figure out how to add SF3 as a non-Steam game, so I’ve looked for a workaround. I found that if I start Paladins and minimize it (prob the same for other Steam games as well), with SF3 open in the background, I can change focus to the Minecraft window and play that instead.

But here’s where the weird thing pops up:

When I’m in Paladins, the key mapping via Keysticks seems to work just fine, but if I minimize it and move to the desktop, the mouse control doubles onto the left thumbstick (which stutters, unlike the smooth cursor movement with the right thumbstick).

This layers aiming control over my strafing and makes SF3 unplayable.

Does anyone know why the mouse control is being layered over my strafing mapping? Is this some default inside of Steam, where it senses the gamepad and automatically adds its own mapping onto what I’ve put together with Keysticks?

All those games mentioned above use a dedicated launcher? In most cases, this is a problem and leads to problems like you describe. Sorry, but not all games stream well.

Did you configure your gamepad settings in Big Picture Mode as well?

I did not. I'll spend some time with BPM later and get back here.

It would make sense that maybe Steam sets controls for a controller, and maybe it mapped the cursor to the left thumbstick.
