D3D12 (Direct X12) Performance issues

Hi guys, been checking the net and the forum here, but couldn't really find anything about it. I've been playing games via in-home Streaming since a fair bit now, and it always worked really well. Pretty much no difference compared to playing it straight on the PC.

I was especially surprised to see that the games run pretty much at full speed (fps-whise).

Well that changed once I tried to stream Deus Ex: Mankind Divided when set to D3D12. Performance is almost HALFED while streaming. Switching the game back to D3D11 and it runs at a locked 60fps again. I tried other D3D12 games (Rise of the Tomb Raider) and found the same issue when running with D3D12. Obviously, the solution here would also be choosing D3D11, but in RotTR I really have some major performance benefit when running on D3D12 directly on the system (+~10fps).

One fix, to keep high FPS while using D3D12, seems to be using "Prefer NVFBC capture method", FPS don't take a hit, but it seems a bit flaky in terms of input lag/frame-pacing and especially image quality.

Anyone else experience this?

Core i7 2600 @ 3.5ghz
16GB DDR3 Ram
Geforce GTX970 @1450mhz;GDDR5@4000mhz
496GB SSD for games
96GB SSD for OS and other programs
Windows 10 (all updated)
Nvidia Driver 375.95

the obvious is check to make sure all your drivers are up to date including graphics cards, and processors. you may want to check to see if there is a bios update for your motherboard. but it could just be buggy as dx12 is realitively new. I could be wrong but best to submit tech support request regarding the issue to the game devolpers.

Likely, yes. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this/could try it before I open a support ticket/ make a bug report.
