Streaming FROM WindowsXP to W10
Trying out something, here's the deal.
I've managed to get a Virtual Box running with Windows XP (32-bits) to use older applications and games on (mainly an old CAM software that doesn't do 64-bit, and games like "Hunter Hunted" and "Connections").
Now, Steam has no trouble streaming -in full HD I might add- from my other PCs to the XP in the Virtual Box, however, when I want to play an old game (like Hunter Hunted) on the couch instead of at my laptop or pc, it just won't run a host from the WindowsXP.
I looked up some info and WindowsXP isn't supported. It really doesn't want to, even says so in the "settings>in-home streaming" part where "hosting is not available" or something like that.

TLDR;
Is there a workaround to fool the Steam client on WindowsXP to make it think it actually CAN host a game towards another system? Trust me, that would be preferable than to install VirtualBox on every computer.

EDIT:
Also might help with (a bunch of) people with actual old systems that use those for retro gaming... which is going to be me too, since I'mma gonna try putting WindowsXP on a raspberry pi kind of format computer.

What´s so hard to understand with "Windows XP is not supported"? XP is dead.
Of course, if somebody would write the necessary code for the audio streaming (which is why XP is not supported), compile a new client, test, etc. then yes, it perhaps would be possible. But installing VirtualBox on that one XP PC you own is preferable. Trust me. ;)
