"Streaming requires additional driver installation"
Hey, tried to stream to my laptop and i got this message:
"Stream launch failed
Streaming requires additional driver installation.
please follow prompts on the remote computer"
However, no such prompt is shown, and googling literally yields 5 results, non in english..... im stuckarino. Also streaming used to work, so its not a network issue.
Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help ^^

I´m guessing: you are using an Nvidia GPU on the host?
Latest driver update destroyed streaming. So revert to older driver and everything should be fine again.

There have been multiple small updates to Steam... don´t know if the latest solved your problem. Did you try with another driver?

Hi, I have the same problem too. It does not let me connect to my pc, I get that message constantly. The audio drivers are updated to the latest version. I do not know what else to do. The strange thing is that when the message tells me to follow the steps on my pc to update the drivers, to put continue does nothing, literally does nothing. I have installed windows 10 creators update 64 bit, will this be the problem?
Thank you to anyone who can help me.

There is a launch flag here which should work around this: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta#announcements/detail/1447197096911425244
“-skipstreamingdrivers”

You have to launch Steam with with that - if you've got it pinned to your taskbar then right click on the Steam icon, right click on Steam then select properties. In the target box, paste that test at the end.
