streaming from 64-bit game to 32-bit windows device?
Hi,

I want to stream a 64-bit game from a windows 10 64-bit pc to a 32-bit (windows 10) tablet, but I cannot find the game in my library on the tablet. I know its not possible to install the 64-bit game on the tablet but is there a workaround to allow streaming to the tablet? tnx

Is in-home-streaming up and running?

, I think so, with 32-bit games it works.

It shouldn't make any difference as Steam itself is only 32bit anyway.

Are you absolutely positive the game is being streamed instead of running locally?

Hi, yeah that game was being streamed (Red alert 3).
I think I have been focussing to much on the 64 bit part. I was trying to stream Magic Duels (I thought it was 64 bit only but now I think I was wrong) to a tablet. Now I am trying it on a windows 64 bit tablet and still cannot find the game in my library list. Maybe because its a free game one needs to have installed it once on the device to stream to?

What is your library view set to? Is it "Installed" or "Installed locally"?

To 'Games' (which shows all games). MTG 2014 does shows up by the way.

What's on the "Play" button of that game in question in library? There's a little down-arrow. Click it and select "Stream".

, the game isn't shown in the library at all, I think I need to install it first. So I am going to try installing it and than uninstalling it (hopefully it doesn't get thrown away out my library than but only shows uninstalled).

Run the steam://flushconfig command, see if that helps Steam fully understand the current situation.

, i read on Reddit that command removes everything in the steam folder, is that true? (would like to prevent that)

That's totally wrong. Absolutely totally wrong. It can make Steam forget external library folders (which I suggest not to use, althogh I didn't have them forgotten when I tried), but your games still will be your games. You may have to log in again and if you log into another account, the games will be "gone", but still in the account you bought them with.

I flushed Steam, but its still not visible. When I install than uninstall it is also removed instantly. I think the problem is that Steam sees the game as a free game which is probably why it removes it is from the library list. Whatever the case thanks for your time.
- edit, Magic 2015 also has this problem, which is not a free game. Weird...
