No sound when vb-cable is installed
Hi, I'm having a problem where I don't get any sound on my stream, neither on my steam link nor when streaming to my GFs computer. The problem persists as long as I have VB-Cable installed. As soon as I uninstall VB-cable the sound starts to work again. Have tried with the CABLE input as default playback device but also with my headset as the default device. Nothing seems to work. Is this a common problem and how can I fix it? :)

Maybe this would be a question to ask the guys from VB support - since IHS is working properly when that software is not installed...

You have to log in to your Machine (Host) with a tool like Teamviewer/Anydesk/etc. and turn up the volume. (100%) Don't use Remote-Desktop, since it is using its own driver. If this doesn't works, try removing and reinstalling vb cable and restart your machine. Good luck.

check if 16Bit 48 000Hz is set in your host audio device settings
