But otherwise you can get a lot of indie games I wouldn't be able to pick up at video stores (even if I were motivated enough to go to one), and free into the bargain.
Will look into the Cat Lady. I tend to go for multiplayer available games thought because im under the impression that that is what teh internet and Steam is for?
Yeah, I make a point never to play the pay-to-win ones. Hence pretty much all the free games I pick up are single player. I always read the comments sections to get an idea of whether this mechanic is possible.
Recently I actually paid money for games on here, which was a new thing for me. I got 'Goat Simulator', which I can't play because I am apparently out of video memory. I have no idea what that means. But I also got 'The Cat Lady', which I am liking very much and would highly recommend.
Ill leave you to your Dota anyway. Tried it, it looks fun but just doesn't do it for me. At the moment im playing lots of Europa Universalis IV, Crusader Kings 2 and Total War: Attila. So basically strategy games.
And the Goat Simulator
As to the player base... Eh, I've seen worse. You get jerks like you do in most online spheres, but the majority of people I've played against have been at least civil.
