I liked it a lot. The story was pretty great, got me glued to the PC. It's definetively not a cutesy game, it has pretty serious themes. I suggest not spoiling yourself, go blind.
And is definetively yuri, not subtext, just plain girls loving girls.
But there is a caveat, the graphics are very very very rough, makes the original Higurashi look good in comparison. But, the story and characters more than make up for it.
I found the MC very relatable... which is not good for me, but it is what it is.
I finished Tomoko route, I need to play the other one. But this one was so good!
Another one could be Eldritch Academy. Is about a group of girl fighting creatures that roams the school at night. The MC is kinda a jerk, but it gets a bit better as the story advance. It combines the slice of life parts of the girls on their daily life and the night when they hunt monsters. I loved one of the girls, Akomi, her romance was pretty cute. And she is an otaku and yuri fan, she makes the protagonist watch a yuri show.
This one can be kinda dark too, but it's more lighthearted in comparison with "Kiss of the Demiurge."
I hate most visuals in VN's anyway, so I'll pro be able to look past that. I'll download the demo, thx for the suggestion :)
