As for the ending I got, apparently Coco's death may have been a suicide and Chloe is torn up over being unable to kill her or stop her from going to the surface world where she ended up getting by the alien. The alien that ate Coco turns into a giant copy of her as if it trying to making contact with Chloe. The alien Coco gave Chloe a cradle, where once enter Chloe re-emerge as an alien version of herself and the 2 hold hand and fly toward the cosmos(a reference to Shrek most likely).
I will play the rest of the game to see how far this goes but from what I'm seeing the route split hinges on whether the protagonist side with the AI version of Coco or the alien version of her.
In addition, the villain of the game is doing all the villainous thing to turn back time so she can revive another girl who was dear to her(the game refuse to elaborate any further). I think this may relate to the other game that the dev made which I may get to at some point.
