Baldur's Gate I & II yuri romance mods

Baldur's Gate has a great modding community and tons of romance mods. I haven't played it in a while so I can't say much about the newer releases, but as I was updating my BG mod lists at YaoiRecs, I figured I should share some f/f mod content here for people who aren't aware of it. If I missed something, let me know!

Adds a number of minor quests, conversations with NPCs, and other short scenes. Mainly straight; some f/f options. See the readme for details.

Delainy/Durlyle Same-Sex Romance Options[forums.beamdog.com] (Disclosure: I made this.)
Allows you to change the gender of a minor character the protagonist can flirt with who normally spawns as the opposite gender of the protagonist.

Neera Expansion[www.shsforums.net]
Allows a female PC to romance Neera (although it's more friendship banters than romance in the first game anyway).

Lawful Good gnome artificer (custom thief kit). Romanceable by a non-evil female PC with at least 10 charisma and 12 intelligence. Includes Siege of Dragonspear content.

Lawful Good human paladin. Romanceable by a good-aligned male or female PC with at least 13 charisma, although it doesn't really progress until BG2.

Half-elf skald. Budding romance with a female PC. Includes Siege of Dragonspear content.

Lawful Good tiefling martyr (custom paladin kit). Romanceable by a male or female PC with at least 12 charisma, although it doesn't really progress until BG2. Includes Siege of Dragonspear content.

Lawful Good human sorcerer. Lesbian, but not romanceable. EE-compatible, but no EE-specific content.

Neutral Evil elf shadowmage. Romanceable in Siege of Dragonspear by any elf, half-orc, human, or half-elf PC.

Allows a male or female PC to romance Imoen.

Allows a male or female PC to romance Mazzy. (I'm not 100% sure on the stat checks but I believe the requirements for a female PC are at least 8 intelligence & 10 charisma for a halfling, or 8 intelligence & 12 charisma for other races.)
Also features a Mazzy/Imoen romance.

True Neutral kensai. Romanceable by a female human, elf, or half-elf PC with at least 10 charisma and 9 intelligence. If the PC isn't compatible or interested, she'll romance Imoen.

Corwin (Love Conquers All)[github.com]
Adds Corwin from SoD as a party member. Romanceable by a male or female PC, but optional explicit content is only available for male PCs.

Human shadow druid. Romanceable by a male or female PC of any chaotic alignment with at least 13 strength and 11 constitution.

Do the mods actually still work on the Enhanced editions, then? I know I've played around wth a number of romance mods but always on the older games...

Yes, the newer mods were made for Enhanced Edition and most of the popular older ones have been converted. Everything I listed here is EE-compatible. EDIT: Except I just realized I linked the old version of Chloe; here's the EE-compatible updated mod.[github.com]

This is amazing! You are a treasure, Kimchi Tea. I recently bought the Baldur's Gate 2 enhanced edition (GOG) as it's a needed upgrade from the classic, and was hunting around to replace some mods that I used to own for the old edition. I got down the Save editor, Imoen romance mod (Yuri), and Haer'Dalis romance mod (non-Yuri), and am looking to get possible new ones of interest, and that makes this list so perfect.

Heck, I don't know where to start! Between all the mods and official inclusions, I desperately need more party slots to have all the companions I want. Haha.

I wish Auren could be romanceble. Her portrait is gorgeous, and I would love to have another Fighter class in my party.

The Haer'Dalis romance mod is amazing. Some of the best RPG romance writing I've ever played. Maybe I could kind of justify putting it here (if you have a non-exclusive relationship in Throne of Bhaal you can have an MFF threesome) but that's a stretch.

And yeah, I can't even tell you how many times I've put painstaking hours into choosing what mods and companions to install, only to play like a quarter of the game and go, welp, time for a new party!

Hi, I'm playing this on a macintosh. When I download any of the mods they only allow install through the custom installer which is made for Windows computers. Is there any instructions for a manual install for say Neera romance expansion or Isra?

Want to know so that I can enjoy the game more. Thanks!

shsforums.net seems to be defunct. Does anybody have the mods that were stored there, and reupload them elsewhere or send them to me directly? Or know where else they might be located? Particularly interested in the the Neera expansion.

Man, that's a shame. I checked archive.org for the Neera expansion[web.archive.org] and it works, so the others are probably good there, as well, but check the readmes for links to other sites as the authors may have uploaded more recent versions elsewhere.

This Mod[forums.beamdog.com] for BG2 is pretty relevant.

It's goal is to expand and add f/f romances with the major female companions and it finished both Viconia and Phaere recently. This is above and beyond a simple gender unlock, it writes new dialogue and also adds reactivity to every race.
