Searching for a Female Knight x Princess game
I saw this game a few years ago and can't seem to find it again. Here's what I remember:
I think it was about a female knight protecting a princess. The gameplay itself was probably top-down 2D RPG, from what I remember of the screenshots.
It might have been Japanese or Chinese because I vaguely remember some Kanji in the title or description but I'm not sure about that.
I think it was free but I didn't find it in the curator's list.

Would anybody happen to know this game?

While this one is about a female knight saving a dark blue haired princess,

Thanks but no, that's not it.
I think the there were only really two main characters in that game. Also the knight had dark blue hair and a less revealing outfit. It looked more like a chestplate a character in the old fire emblem games would wear.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Amazing! Eternal Senia is the one, 100 points to you! Great job, especially considering I did completely misremember most parts.
The best part is that it's already in my library according to the store page but it won't show up there because it's currently not installed. Downloading now. I really don't get why free games can't just stay be added to the library too.

Thanks to everyone for the other suggestions. I'll check them out too.

I think it worth mentioning that Eternal Senia does have a sequel on the mobile market called Eternal Senia - Hydrangea After the Rain. The story does take place after the events in the RPGMaker game. However, the gameplay style is a huge departure from the first game in that it becomes a typical mobile grind-a-thon. You click on monsters to attack them, and you repeat ad Infinitum to grind, and grind, and grind, and grind, and grind... for experiences and pitiful drop chances. It's probably a good mobile game with interesting story, but I got really put off by the pointless grinding and the gacha element. If you can't stand these types of mobile games, just imagine a happy ending after the first game. I personally don't think it's worth the time wasted and the seedy gacha elements. I got through about 2 chapters, saw that they kept trying to get me to buy more premium pets, then promptly deleted the game.

tl;dr
There's a sequel, but it's a mobile game with gacha element. Play at your own risk
