Hey guys! DLU dev here! Glad to see so many people out here that want the game back. Thanks for all the support!

Also lcdr and Humanoid are doing a Project wich isnt (kinda) released to publicity YET.

***In case you don't know what ALPHA/BETA Stand for, they represent the stages of projects. For example, ALPHA means the game is very very "Fresh" and unfinished, while BETA means it's very close to Final Release, Where the game is expected to be completed, bugs-free, stable, optimized and ready for public.

LUNI is indeed dead, But LEGO Universe isn't. :)
You see, LUNI wasn't the only LEGO Universe revival project, there are a few more.
But let's not talk about those, Let's talk about the current, leading Darkflame Universe project.
Darkflame Universe is the most leading LEGO Universe project visible to public at the moment, However, It's in Closed ALPHA, which means, Only some people are able to play it for now.
DLU (Darkflame Universe) said that they will significally increase the number of allowed players to play on their servers once closed BETA is released.
To catch up, get notified and watch progressions, We've posted the required sources of information above ^ Under the title "LEGO Universe".
Despite DLU, There's another project going on but it's currently private.

About Venture Explorer, Type a teleport command in the chat to teleport to a different map for example: /tp 1200 <--- Should take you to Nimbus Station.

Hey, I noticed that Ion's server went down for maintenance. I was online at the time and inside the Venture Explorer, unable to get out. I had heard there was an issue with the Venture Explorer before. Any idea when the server will be back up, and any help/advice for the situation I'm in?

i am not even able to start the game ! it says dll missing i fixed it still wont work. i reset pc and my wifi is crapy need 8 houres to dowenload. its so hard ! and i really want to help developing but i dont know how c++ works anyone can teach me ?

LUNI is not dead... the development has slowed, but there are two public servers up right now for you to play on!

The LUR (Lego Universe Reborn) Seems to be Offline for now, Egmo mentioned something about the "Tech Guys Issue" let's wait and see what happens! :)

Actually, permission was granted by the entity of LEGO moderators, not any one person. So the death of the previous owner does not affect this permission.

Keeping a server up shouldn't be as hard as working of its content, the development team is very busy and smaller than it seems, but the project isn't dead at all.

Infact! That's the reason this group exists, to keep the project alive by getting support from the members and to show how many we really are! :)

I just noticed the LUNI Servers, and I have been trying to look for some of the Public Servers. Is this project really dead? or is it hard to keep a server live?

I'm not quite sure about that, Make sure you're not missing any files and that you have the recommended version(0.5.1) and make sure you've finished every required step from the instructions successfully. Also I'm pretty sure the libmysql.dll belongs to the VS (Visual Studio).

One more thing it said libmysql.dll file was missing i whent to the help followed the instructions but then when i launched the LUNI server it said that the file is not made to run on windows or contains a error please help.

I heard from people on youtube that you cant get LUNI for mac if you want ill make you guys a emulator for people to download so you can save time.

Hey sioox! I'm really glad you're willing to help. In response to your question, I currently pay the costs for the website and file hosting out of my own pocket right now, and the public servers are hosted by the moderators that manage them. We are not really rebuilding the maps of LEGO Universe, since they are already finished in the client. You can still help in a number of ways, especially translating, since I assume that since your English is not perfect that you can speak another language.

nice to meet you. At first i have to say that my english is not to good but i hope you understand what i try to say. In Addition to that i have to say that i will support your try to bring back lego universe. Before you came i was often on a Minecraft Server which rebuild Lego Universe there and it looked so epic #LegoUnicraft. Moreover, i ask me how you pay the server cost and how i can help you? I like the try to rebuild LU but i hope you will change some things. I mean that you not build the citys in 1:1. Lets move to an exemple, Nimbus Station: Please set there much Higher Trees. I am not that good in coding ... okay i am realy bad ... languages which i understand a little bit are HTML and C#.
