Since you renamed your mods folder, the issue is not with enb or reshade.
So my guess would be that the high resolution textures that are to much for the R* editor.
As soon as i am able to, i will downscale these textures and provide a lower resolution patch.
but it could take some time unfortunately since i have no access to the original raw data.
Thank you for the answer. I also think that is has something to do with the textures, currently I'm using Make Visuals Great Again, and there the the editor doesn't take long to load.
But I noticed that only the new recorded clips with the "Make Visuals Great Again" ENB are loading fast, the old clips (that I've taken before with Redux) are still slow even if I open them with the Make Visuals Great Again ENB.
Does is record the game engine (positions, environment variables, level detail)?
Or does it simply do what Ansel is doing?
and it cant be the behavior of npc's since that is recorded and not calculated.
maybe really some detail alteration by redux. i can't think of anything else right now.
can you try installing mvga over redux and see what changes in terms slow downs/lag?
I tried it, there are still the long loading times so it doesn't really change anything if mvga is installed over Redux..
i will check the files and get back at you as soon as i determine which file needs to be altered.
Thanks, appreciate your help man!
visualsettings.dat which can be found in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data.
line 29: lower value (default gta5 is 16384)
line 497 and below: everything tagged with LOD
especially car.lod.distance.low set it back to default (180)
or if mvga has the file aswell, just replace it in
mods/update/update.rpf/common/data
and
mods/common.rpf/data
edit:
or use the vanilla visualsettings.dat if you're only taking screens in close range
In my opinion there is something with the x64a.rpf - x64u.rpf files.
I really don't know what I can do to fix this problem.
mods/x64a.rpf/data/tune/physicstasks.ymt
mods/x64a.rpf/data/terraintessellation.xml
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/graphics_pc.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/plantsmgr.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/skydome.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/water.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/fxdecal.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/fxweather.ytd
mods/x64a.rpf/textures/graphics.ytd
especially the 2nd one might be interesting.
Just replace those with the vanilla ones, one by one and test.
Im sure we get to the bottom of this...
