try extracting Grand Theft Auto V/update/update.rpf/common/data/gameconfig.xml to your desktop and then put that in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data

I had this same problem. This solved it for me.

"Rename the dxgi.dll *file* to ReShade64.dll
Open your enblocal.ini file,
locate the line –
ProxyLibrary=d3d11.dll
And rename it to –
ProxyLibrary=ReShade64.dll

(make sure you save the file after your changes)

A good way to remove reshade and ENB files is to copy the original reshade files and the flder into the directory, selecting replace existing files and after pasting, the copied files are highlighted, then press delete. The reshade files should have deleted from the GTA 5 directory. Make sure that the dxgi.dll or reshade dlls are removed. Do the same thing for ENB files (copying them to GTA folder and then deleting them).

Then what you should do is paste the original reshade files and enb files to gta directory. Then copy the REDUX files into the gta directory, allowing to replace the files if necessary.

PS. Make sure that the reshade provided matches the structure of the original reshade (reshade 1.1.0.f is different to reshade 2.0 so be careful
