download 20gb + after installing 1.2

Hey guys, after the installation of redux 1.2 my GTA want to update 20+ GB

Is there a way to get out of this?
I need ~18h to download it

did you installed the redux in youre game directory if so good time installing 20 gb again

the only reason why GTA5 would re-download the vanilla files is when they are altered/modified.

Since Redux v1.1 you have to choose "mods folder" when installing trough openIV, maybe you watched an out-dated video-tutorial.

i recommend making a backup of your vanilla/unmodded GTA V folder in a zip file after every update, if you got enough space (don't need to do that on a SSD).
It's very easy to mess up your game files when modding.

Is it normal if I install everything normally so the redux mod, that I then still 30 gb of the game still have to install? And i have installed it into the normal Gta folder!

And what must be in this mods folder?

The Redux have to be installed in the "mods" folder
