GTA 5 REDUX FULL SCREEN CRASH
Hi

I have recently installed gta 5 redux mod.

All was working fine after install with a few of the troubleshoot tweaks that are suggested (rename dxgi.dll to reshade64.dll blah blah).

However after I ran the game with the original redux reshader (which worked fine) I decided to try others, So i chose another one I done everything by the book as in remove all files of the previous shader renamed the required files and everything. However after I done this the game crashes when going into fullscreen mode which makes no sense as the other ReShade did not crash the game but when i try and install the original Shader that Worked the same thing happens. I dont get it because when you revert back to something that worked you expect it to work.

I then decided to switch my GPU to the Intergrated graphics card and it worked but obviously sucked as its not a GPU.

Other Methods Tried:

playing about with "settings.xml" in the gta 5 folder in documents
removed the reshader and game ran in fullscreen without crash
Please help I am going insane trying to find out what this issue is, the only fix i know is reinstalling the entire mod which is ridiculous considering I am only changing the shaders.

P.S.
I know about the teamviewer problem and I do not have that installed I have also tried disabling steam overlay.

• Summary
  • For whatever reason, not all Redux ReShade options will work for everyone.
  • FYI -- If you have to re-install Redux, you don't have to copy the GTA V files again (unless you messed up something while modding or GTA V updated), you can actually just re-install REDUX_INSTALLER.oiv and REDUX_PATCHDAY1.oiv given that you removed ENB, ReShade, Sweetfx, etc. files from your game folder first. I do this all the time when trying a new car pack.
• Possible Solutions
  1. Make sure REDUX_PATCHDAY1.oiv is installed (Some people forget this step).
  2. Install the following → gameconfig[www.gta5-mods.com] ← file.
  3. Try the solution in → this video ←.
  4. Remove all files related to ENB, ReShade, Sweetfx, etc. from your game folder, then:
    • Start the game normally.
    • Change the settings from Full Screen to Windowed Borderless Mode.
    • Exit game.
    • Replace the Redux Original ReShade option in your game folder.
    • Start game.
• If None of the Above Worked, Try the Following
  1. Disable GPU optimization such as AMD Gaming Evolved, Nvidia GeForce Experience or other third party software, turn them off.
  2. Apart from Steam Overlay, disable and close any other game overlays you might have such as FRAPS, Shadowplay, Overwolf, etc.
  3. If you overclocked your GPU, reset the clock to its default setting and exit any overclocking software.
• Are You Prompted With an Error Message?
  • Are you presented with an error message, if yes what does it say?

Tried it all my friend and I just find it so wierd how when I change the game to run on the cpu (Intel i7) it works fine but has a bad frame rate as it's the cpu hope this could help to fix my problem.
