Can you restore original vehicle damage and handling?
I love the mod but my driving is not good enough to deal with the realistic damage and i really like the original driving better than redux's version. Does anyone know howto restore the settings?

• Summary
• Yes, default handling and damage can be restored, however, it'll have to be done manually.
• Since there are multiple handling.meta files for main vehicles and DLC vehicles respectively, I can't state whether all [handling/meta[/i] files have to be replaced or not, therefore this guide will list file paths consisting of handling.meta files as at January 23, 2017, to help you to figure out which ones you may want to replace.

• Restoring GTA V's Default Handling.meta File(s)
• The following requires the use of OpenIV[openiv.com] and an understanding of how to mod GTA V.
• Remember to backup files before changing them.
• Vanilla folder structure: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\
• Mods folder structure: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods
• To replace the files -- do the following based on the file paths provided:
  1. Backup each original handling.meta file from the GTA V vanilla files, storing them in properly named folders as to not mix them up.
  2. Replace the corresponding files within the mods folder with the vanilla files that you backed up in step 1 above.

    • Example:
    - Backup → \Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\handling.meta
    - Replace → \Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\handling.meta

• Original Handling.meta File Paths
• Below is a list of file paths for various handling.meta files.
• Root folder is \Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\.
  1. Main Vehicles → \update\update.rpf\common\data\handling.meta
  2. \update \x64\dlcpacks\mpapartment\dlc.rpf\common\data\handling.meta
