If your game is crashing during the games loading screen, a fix that worked for me is..

Using OpenIV

Copy " gameconfig.xml "

from:

update/update.rpf/common/data

to:

mods/update/update.rpf/common/data

Your game should now load up!

If you didn't use the mods folder, you will likely have to re-install Redux and follow this patch.

Game crashing while loading story mod with this mod.. :/ We need new patch.

Not sure if it's related to the newest GTA patch recently, but as soon as I install GTA 5 Redux via OpenIV, it crashes on entering the Story mode.
Mods folder was completely clean, files validated through steam as well.
ReShade isn't even installed yet either. Anyone any idea?

if you want to remove the really wiggely trees then just turn of the shaders option to normal (test it)

options folder with redux 1.3? also any way to remove tanks from wanted level system or get a mod that overwrites the wanted system?

How does GTA Workshop make his GTA look like that... Mixing M.V.G.A and Redux 4K textures and ENB

Also where are the Weather System, Game Enhanchements, Police System, Population, Random Events & Pedestrian Ai, Vehicles and the Miscellaneous (Just copied what the features in the Redux Website) Files located? because im mixing M.V.G.A and Redux. and if someone can help me, that will be Awesome!

The fireworks launcher still can not shoot.
Beware of uploading hotfix 1.2.1 to redux version 1.2.1 to fix this error.
So the old hotfix repaired something that is not the basic version 1.2.1 and what is not 1.3?
Please, restore 1.2.1 hotfix until you fix this error and issue a new hotfix

Open OpenIV, go to the folder /mods, /Update, Update.rpf, common, data.
Go to File, and click Edit Mode. Now right-click Replace gameconfig.xml with the newer one
you downloaded.

A temp fix for crashing that worked for me until redux is updated. (Screaming Nipples gets credit if it weorks for you as its from an old post of his)

I've done about 6 clean installs with just redux, no reshade, and it still keeps crashing. Redux is the 1.2.1 version and I've even tried to apply the hotfix to no avail. What in tarnation am I doing wrong?

Hey, So I decided to try to install Redux after seeing it on YouTube (Great Work btw!) but when I try to install it through Open IV>Tools>Package Installer I just get an error saying "Some files are missing from the package archive" When I open the installation log I find:


The "footerLink" attribute is not found in node "metadata>description"
The "footerLink" attribute is not found in node "metadata>licence"

AND

File "content/mods/x64/audio/sfx/prologue.rpf/td_loading_music.awc" not found in package


If anyone can help it would me much appreciated
