I enjoy teamspeak and talking with members of the community, in terms of gameplay I enjoy the server events
What does the experience here have that other HL2RP servers lacked?
Really decent events and competent, sometimes mature staff members
Has the experience changed here over time?
I don’t think it really changed I think it’s the fact that it stays the same is why it’s seen as bland, idk if anything can really be done about that besides just taking breaks until you would find it enjoyable again
What would you like to see added in future?
Gritty, corrupt lore changes and rule changes in terms of union occupations, full server wide iron man mode
i enjoy storytelling and developing my character, as shit's so memorable in hl2rp for whatever reason - events are sick as fuck too btw
What does the experience here have that other HL2RP servers lacked?
the sense of a thriving community that all enjoys one thing, and the fact that people bother putting the effort in to be literate, and create interesting characters and struggles that no other server can really mach
Has the experience changed here over time?
as i've become more and more of a regular, i'd say my experience has improved - as it seems that i'm more involved with the community and as a result i enjoy it more - joining ts3 was also a great idea and it's enjoyable to chat to a bunch of gamer boys who all have a common interest
Have there been any challenges?
i'd say the main issue right now is the complete dragging of heels i feel whenever things are to be authed, especially so in terms of 'rebel stuff' such as espionage and other more larger-scale stuff - although it's understandable why
What would you like to see added in future?
my shitty soundpack to the main branch :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
ok not really but i can't wait until the weapon base project is developed and deployed as rcs gives me a hernia to look at and use
Chatting with friends, doin shit out of the norm and just havin a good laugh in rp really.
What does the experience here have that other HL2RP servers lacked?
An actually visually appealing version of clockwork, staff that aren't 5 year olds and have some sort of ability to make correct decisions.

Not changed at all for me, the only real change I experienced was the ones I did myself in the way I rp

The hatred between factions, and the circlejerks that are constantly trying to derail each other
What would you like to see added in future?
More freedom in what you can do RP wise, currently everything has to be authed.
Character creation, the abundance of interesting and unique whitelists which are all lead separately. Plenty of events for every faction. Little to no abuse within factions due to strict OOC applications being the norm.
What does the experience here have that other HL2RP servers lacked?
The seriousness of mostly everything is a big plus, great staff alongside a good community.
Has the experience changed here over time?
I would say it has but I haven't been a part of most faction groups so I can't really say for sure, as for the factions I have been a part of I'd say that the only issue was that too many major changes were made without alerting members of the faction.
Have there been any challenges?
There will always be problems within every community and ours is no different. I again would prefer to let someone who has all the details about the issues bring them up instead of me regurgitating what I've seen as I could easily be mistaken. The community has been handling most problems well but I feel that people are taking too many direct jabs at each other when there is a problem.
What would you like to see added in future?
This is going to stir up a lot of shit but In my opinion, a new map or a return to one of the old ones would be preferred.
I mainly liked the diversity of the players. Not everyone was super experienced and a lot of people were completely new to the gamemode, so they always did things that weren't considered conventional
I never enjoyed being an actual rebel and being a citizen was always the best part since the people you met were always flamboyant and different, and they always had different goals which made it entertaining

I would say so. From the few times I've gotten on the server over the past months it just seems really bland to me now. I always liked how there were only a few super geared rebels and when guns weren't so common. Now it seems like almost half of the server is a walking army that sits in an area of the map that's completely secluded
My favorite experiences were when masses of citizens grouped up in condemned zones and caused commotion, with some of those groups actually becoming somewhat prominent. Now all you find are your average oppressed citizen, average super geared rebel, and average loyalist. Nothing ever new really happens.
Have there been any challenges?
The only people I see anymore are people who've been playing the gamemode for years. There's never any new players that I see and everyone's off in their own circlejerk
What would you like to see added in future?
I'd give a suggestion, but I know it's not going to be added. There's always these massive threads detailing these crazy new changes to the BMD system, or how to improve rebel RP, or how to improve this or that but nothing ever happens or changes.
TLDR
Nothing new ever happens and nothing ever changes. We see these massive suggestion threads and talk of a new weapon base, but those threads always just become irrelevant and no one pays any more attention to them. Literally go and look in the accepted/denied suggestions forum and you'll see what I'm talking about
Living another life than our in another universe is just something ... EXCEPTIONNAL, I don't have anything to say other than this.

A real immersion, and a fucking great code that developpers did, I really enjoy this server because of this.

Not really, I always played the same way and had the same feeling.

I don't really know what challenges this server could have, excepting minges.

Maybe more things for the civilians, but I don't really know what, i'm not an expert
