Why u are furry?

I think it might be interesting to know why members are furry. This gave it a special occasion? Or were you born that way? Etc. etc.
Just for fun.
Especially since I haven´t quite grasped this Furry scene (yeah i know mah english sucks...)

Few people ? I would be stupid if i would say it knowing "few people" . I'm furry long time . 7-8 years if I remember good and I've met a lots of furs , Furaffinity is based on Porn , Furrymate another sex date site , F-list , Sofurry , Furryfling all those sites are based on porn or sex dating sites . Furry fandom is bullshit

Not every artist on FA draws porn. Just my two cents.

You're the one talking about popularity. The point of my statement was to point out that NOT EVERY FURRY IS IN IT FOR THE YIFF! You're going away from the original argument just for the sake of arguing with me.

I fell in love with furries when I saw some furrycon videos on youtube. I think the costumes are adorable.. also I just like animals in general :3

Well, when I was 12 I found myself obsessed with werewolves, and after a while I found the furry fandom, rather similar and more popular, so I just eased in.

2 friends showed me the furry fandom, and I decided to join. What the heck. Nothing to lose.
Here I am.

I found out what the fandom was really about (a multitudinous mix of many motivations) as opposed to what I'd heard about in the past, thought, "Hey, I like anthropomorphic art and such." Or something to that tune. Then I decided I'd start actually going to furmeets and found out that the number of friendlies who are not creeps far outnumber the creepy types and the unfriendlies. After that, I just more or less kept calling myself a furry and occasionally doing something with other furries.

My dog died and he was the best pet I ever had. Life goes on. It's been 3 years and I can still feel him as I hugged my fluffy guard dog. I got only one picture because we lost all of the pictures on my fav dog in the move.. Stolen..
