Favorite Video Game OST?

It's really hard for me to pick my favorite soundtrack, as it really all depends on what mood I'm in; however, I do have a few games where the soundtracks really struck me (in no particular order, yet I would generally refer to as my favorites):

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - For adding more dramatic tension to frequent plot twists in the story.

EVE Online - Being so dreamy, and otherworldly this one quickly became nostalgic.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Hans Zimmer. Need I say more?

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon - Another nostalgia trip brought to you by Power Glove. Mark IV Style, mothaf***a!

My list can go on for ages, but I'm curious to hear all of yours!

So, what are your favorite Video Games OSTs, and why do they have a special place in your mind/ heart/ soul?

Pretty much all Metroid music, Undertale's soundtrack, Ori and the Blind Forest's, and Zelda: Majora's Mask.

The entire Bastion OST is astounding.

The first selection of ost are from kingdom hearts, the first of the series and in the music i'll start with is beginning part of the game minus the intro music and pre rendered introduction. (non of these sound tracks well not be the 1.5 remixes, it well all be from the PS2 release i.e the original music)

This battle theme is great in my opinion, I love the orchestra in this one plus it matches the area very well, I feel that there's a set emotion with this music like a feel of danger with an older Disney vibe to it, they really know what they're doing up at square enix.

Some of my favorotes are:

(I'm naming the whole soundtrack, not just particular songs)

-Half Life 2 - Definalty in my top 3 favorite. Every song potrays so many emotions and I absolutely love the style.

-Minecraft - C418 does amazing music, and his songs for Minecraft are incredibaly relaxing and just nice to listen to. If I'm ever doing work, I'll often go to Youtube and start a playlist of these songs.

-Skyrim - Skyrim's music is just plain incredeible. The epic pieces go with the game perfectly.

-Super Mario Galaxy - I think we can all agree on this one. Great orchestral sounds mixed in with other genres makes for an awesome soundtrack.

-Chrono Trigger - This soundtrack can be extremely upbeat or extremely dark, and the music matches the amazing visuals perfectly.

-Super Mario Land - It's basic and not traditional Mario music, but it's so catchy and fun.

Star Fox 64 and Adventures is where it's at... Or pretty much any classic Game Cube and N64 game XD. Area 6, Krazoa Palace, Thorntail Hollow... Literally anything from Smash Bros. Melee. Used to play Star Fox 64 with my Dad when I was a little kid. I would always play the easy bits and hand off the controller to him when we got to the hard bosses, and he'd hand it off to me again when we got to the easy bits. Great, great times... I honestly can't remember a time in my life when I didn't know what Star Fox was.
