Yet yes, Shark = Furry.
And damn right that female sharks are the best.
- Is it an animal? Real or fiction doesn't matter. (Birds or dragons, for example)
- Does it have anthropomorphism in it? (human, humanoid, human-like; attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities)
If both check out, it probably is furry. Gets confusing with addition of androids/cyborgs and such, but that's topic for another discussion.
According to google: Sharkskin feels exactly like sandpaper.
It is made up of tiny teeth-like structures called placoid scales, also known as dermal denticles. These scales point towards the tail and help to reduce friction from surrounding water when the shark swims.
So I'm going classify sharks as scalies.
However, it can also be divided up into sub-groups based on the individual species.
Scalies - Scale covered animals like reptiles and probably fish.
Featheries - Birds, obviously.
Furries - Fur covered animals.
