Ideas/Tips/ Examples on Starting a Furry OC?

I’m not asking you to share you furry OC, but you can if you’d like. I thought about making a calico cat OC, but I’d forget he markings I’d pick XD Also, I’m new to being a furry/the furry fandom and I’m not sure how normal/ common. It is to have your OCs wearing clothes..?? XD I probably sound like an idiot, but... yeah- also I don’t know how to draw the snouts unless I’m drawing like my first oc ever from animal jam XD

First of all gentleman, ya must understand when you join this fandom, there is no way that u can escape. And after this sadness, just search in google random furry pic, take it on ur avatar, then say "uwu" "owo" and other sweetnes. And after all its done, just be a normal person but with uniqe fursona! Like im not a furry, but i really like to collet uniqe furry avatars, and place it right in my sweetie folder. (im talkin' about avatars, u Furry R34 fanbois!) im not collecting a furry R34 pics, beacuse that gonna be wierd.

I am confusion- 1 “take it on my avatar”? XD and just *somebody else’s art* online?;-; (no hate/offense) and “gentleman” 👏👏👌 AND “other sweetness” / “sweetie folder”

I just made mine with something on furraffinity, since i cant draw, and using someone elses art, sure might SEEM wrong, but 1. everyone does it (including me) but you should NEVER EVER claim it as your own, and there is no 2, just a 1

Be as creative as you want with it. Give them a personality, give them physical traits you have, want, or think looks the way you want (Tall, skinny, muscular, fat, or whatever. [There is no limit to these traits, they can be as realistic or unrealistic as you want. For example, tits bigger than their head :P] ) If you want, you can create a little backstory for them, or maybe give them an entire world to live in. For my OC (Jackson Barker), I made up an entire island nation called "Furinosa". There is really no limit to how far you can go to make your OC unique.
