Valheim world not saving properly

Me and my girlfriend have a shared steam library on a single computer. She started a world in Valheim and progressed in the game in her profile. Later, I played on her server with my profile and progressed further. I did this a few more times on different occasions. Each time me, or anyone logged in, the world was updated and saved properly. Today, she logs in through her account, and loads up the server, to find the world has reverted back to the state when she last played. I tested out the server by loading in with my account, and it didn't come back to the most recent edition.

So basically everything I did through my account ceased to exist in that world.

I'm not sure if this is a family sharing issue, or simply a data saving issue with steam. Valheim is synced with the cloud, and as far as I know, the game is updated with the dedicated server modifications.

Try removing cloud sync, it could be SFS is playing with time stamps
