We're happy to announce that we've finalized conditions with Atomic Royalty (AR) and as of September 18, 2016, are merging with their CS:GO team branch. While the merge will bring plenty of opportunity for both Atomic Royalty and eXt1nct, I'm sure it also brings up questions for a few members for both AR and eX, in which I'm hoping to be able to answer in this post.

Q: Is the name of the team going to be changed? If so, what to?
A: The team will still be called eXt1nct, however the tag and group name will be changed to AR.eXt1nct to represent both sides of the merge.

Q: What's the point in the merge?
A: The merge is meant to benefit both AR and eXt1nct in different ways. In AR's benefit is a fresher roster that more aptly suits their competitive goals in their CSGO branch, allowing them to have the opportunity to compete at a higher level than seen before of the team (no offense to AR). In eXt1nct's favor is the ability to have the team managed by an organization able to sign deals with sponsors as well as provide marketing for the team. In addition, it will allow our multi-team player, Ares, to be able to focus solely on one team.

Q: If the roster's changing again, what's going to happen to the people removed from the lineup?
A: Atomic Royalty will be providing an additional acadmic team service called Ovect that members moved away from the main team will be put into in order to improve both their individual skill and teamplay. The academic team will also receive frequent support from members of eXt1nct for further teaching, which is another benefit of the merge. If a member of the academic team is showing a dramatic improvement, it is possible for that member to join into the main lineup.

Q: Have the rosters for the main team and academic team been decided?
A: We have a good idea of how the roster is going to be set up for both teams, but we'll be finalizing rosters later this week.

Q: This merge is stupid! I don't want to be part of this merge!
A: Then leave. Also, that's not a question.

Due to school starting and overall unavailability to play, we're going to be replacing two of our main team members, Chicken and Nooty, with someone else. Currently confirmed to replace Nooty's spot and his position as primary awper is rmb, joining us for hopefully a long time. While our replacement for Chicken is still unknown, we are looking for another, skilled player.

I (Warb) will also be retaking the role as IGL and overall team coach for eXt1nct, and hope to help lead us into becoming an actual co-operating team rather than just a queue of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ shouting at eachother.

Another thing is that we'll soon be opening up a team twitter, managed by fs0^. Honestly I don't know what the point of this twitter would be, I just thought we should have one.
