Missing map textures

This is a guide to help anyone with pink and black squares and ERROR signs.

Please be aware if you have the Counter Strike Source game you do not need to do this, just download CS-S to your computer and you're good to go.

Download the counter strike source textures from here[http//here], alternatively you can find your own download via youtube etc.

Make sure you are using a browser on your pc (firefox, internet explorer, chrome etc) for the download and not the steam one on the overlay in game.
For the one on the group page follow the links and once you get to the Captcha page fill it in and authorise the download. Should look something like this http://imgur.com/zJt3QYY

Once you have downloaded the textures you will have a zipped folder.

Unzip the file - to unzip the downloaded file you need a program such as winzip, winrar, 7-zip or your pc may have a default program.
Go to the file location (By default “Downloads” folder) and select extract files with the program of your choice.

Copy or move the root folder - To find the root folder locate the text file called addon.txt or info.txt, the folder containing this is the root file you want to copy.
May look something like this http://imgur.com/lGlNYze as you can see on this there is a folder inside a folder, the one you need is the highlighted one on the left.

Place the folder in the location of your addons folder for Garrys Mod:-

Windows (64bit) - This PC > Windows8_OS C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam >
SteamApps >common or Steam Username > GarrysMod >
garrysmod > addons

Windows (32bit) - This PC > Windows8_OS C: > Program Files > Steam > SteamApps
> common or Steam Username > GarrysMod > garrysmod > addons

Linux - ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common or SteamUsername/
GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons

Mac - ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/
common or Steam Username/garrysmod/garrysmod/addons

( ~ means your user directory, your "home" directory)
All of these file paths are for the default installation of steam, if you installed to a different location, go there.

Missing player models

The only reason we have found as to why player models wouldn't be textured is because you may have slow internet. To combat this issue, subscribe to this collection. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=675344741

Once you have done any this you need to restart your Garrys Mod if you are in game.

Please contact an admin if you have any problems.

Changed the download link, the process should be the same, but witht he new download from our google drive.

i have the pack and havnt played in a few months, now my textures are faqed but i have the pack. fix?

Playermodels re working fine. But maps like "CS Office" re only purple/black.
"PH Restaurante" got errors too.

have you tried uninstalling the maps? and have you got css textures?

i downloaded the texture pack addon but it did not work

1. Did you put it in the addmons folder for Garry's Mod.
2. Im not sure if the file you download is a zip file, if it was did you extract it into a folder?
3. Have you reloaded the game since you installed it?

it's a zip file with all of the textures for css. if you're wary of using that link then you can try and find your own on google :)

The ph_forest map is actually buggy, if you subscribe to it in the workshop and not being downloaded through FastDL. Not sure if you guys have a fix for that.
