I checked Discord and it in fact does seem to be better - particularly the channel feature is needed as HOSU mentioned.

We are most likely gonna need a discord bc doing diplo or war strats in a call where you can't join a diffrent channel will be counterproductive unless skype has such a feature now haven't used it in 5 years

We plan our first game this Thursday at 8PM (Central Europe Time), 7PM (UK Time).

Before we start the game itself, we will discuss all details to make sure everyone agrees with the basic rules and regular scheduling time. Here's a detailed breakdown of what we need to agree on before beginning:
- Regular scheduling hours
- Communication method (do we continue using Skype or other services like Discord?)
- Playing Speed
- Picking up countries for our first campaign
- Confirming if all players would like to continue (this is important since we are looking for people who can regularly play, we play only once a week, but we need to make sure everyone shows up each week)

Obviously, any other thing you guys think we should discuss on top of that I'll add to the agenda.
